I confess. I love to shop. There I said it! Retail therapy is a thing, no matter what my husband says LOL. Since having a baby I found that my wardrobe has remained status quo, however Little Miss is rocking all of the latest trends. Living in Toronto we have so many great options for children’s clothing both local and across borders, so I did a roundup of my top 5 favs!
I feel like this brand has been my best kept secret that I almost don’t want to give up! They’re clothes make my heart skip a beat. They come at a slightly higher price point, but you’re paying for quality and something truly unique, plus they have great sales. These are the clothes all the mamas ask about on the playground. And if you only get one thing, make it a jumpsuit. Every child needs a Hugo Loves Tiki jumpsuit #justsaying
Not much explaining needed here, I LOVE all of their clothing (kids and adults alike) – if only they could make some of their kids clothing in adult sizes! #twinningforlife
3. MINI MIOCHE
Mini Mioche is a local favourite, which provides organic and ethically made fashion basics for babies and children. Needless to say, the quality is great! The clothing and most accessories are their own brand, however you can also find footwear and accessories from Adidas, Beach and Bandits, New Era, Vans and more. We love their basics, and their beanies are our fall favourite! You can shop in store and online.
In my years of mom-ing I’ve learned that Carters is a mamas go-to. This is where we buy a lot of our pjs, and my daughter gets so excited about all the different colours and patterns she gets to wear to bed!
Tiny trendsetter is another local Toronto boutique that provides baby and children’s fashion from all over the world. Their stuff is SO cute, and they have everything from clothes, footwear, accessories, toys and décor. They also carry a variety of different brands, such as Hux Baby, Native Shoes, Nununu, Mini Rodini, Salt Water Sandals – the list goes on and on. Their flagship store is on Jane St, but you can shop everything online, and they’re quick to ship.
